ผู้ป่วยก็จะตอบว่ามีอาการต่างๆ ดังนี้

I have got a cold.                เป็นหวัด

I have got cough.                ไอ

I have got a sore throat.            เจ็บคอ

I have got a toothache.            ปวดฟัน

I have got a backache.            ปวดหลัง

I have stomachache.            ปวดท้อง

I have a terrible headache.            ปวดหัวรุนแรง

I vomit.                    อาเจียน

I’m not feeling very well.            รู้สึกไม่ค่อยสบาย

I lose my appetite.                เบื่ออาหาร

I don’t feel like eating anything.        เบื่ออาหาร

หากหมอถามว่า What kind is it? อาการปวดเป็นอย่างไร? ก็ให้ตอบไปว่า

It comes and goes.                เป็นๆ หายๆ

เมื่อหมอขอเช็คและถามรายละเอียดว่าปวดตรงไหน?

You have a fever.                คุณมีไข้

You must have an injection.        คุณต้องฉีดยา

I’ll prescribe medicine for you.        เดี๋ยวหมอจะสั่งยาให้

Take this tablet three times a day and one before bedtime.

(ทานยานี้ครั้งละ 1 เม็ด วันละ 3 ครั้ง และอีก 1 เม็ดก่อนนอน)
