If you’ve recently configured your SBCGlobal email account in Outlook (which is a unified email program that lets everyone to access all their email accounts from one platform) but unfortunately can’t access SBCGlobal email account then, it may be because you’ve followed the steps of ‘Set up SBCGlobal email in Outlook’ incorrectly. However, do not worry and configure your account in MS Outlook correctly using only the IMAP settings:
1. Open MS Outlook program, click on its ‘Files’ in order to navigate to ‘Account Settings.’
2. Then, select the ‘Manual Setup or Additional Server Type’ option and the ‘Next’ button to enter your ‘Name and Email Address’ in the ‘User Information’ column.
3. After that, click on the option of ‘Account Type’ and select ‘IMAP’ in order to fill the following SBCGlobal IMAP settings outlook:
. Incoming E-mail Server: imap.mail.att.net; Incoming Port: 993
. Outgoing Email Server: smtp.mail.att.net; Outgoing Port: 465
. Requires SSL: Yes
. Requires authentication: Yes
. Once done entering these details, further fill the ‘Username, email ID, and password’ under the ‘Login Information.’
. In the end, click on the ‘Finish’ and ‘Save’ to complete the configuration process.
