1,570 ViewsHey everyone, today Id like to share some facts and opinions about what I get from studying at Thai-Nichi Institute of Technology. Before I begin, I am a 2nd year student of the business administration, bachelor degree in an international business management (IB).
Many thinks that this institute is located on the Din-Daeng Road, because the name seems like a cooperation between Thai and Japan, but actually TNI is located on the Pattanakan Road, near Kasem Bundit University. An atmosphere, here, is very warm and friendly. Also for those who loves Japanese should try applying here, the feeling is right.
TNI supports students to study at least 3 levels of English (ENL) and 3 levels of Japanese (JPN) in every curriculum. I forget to mention that TNI has 3 faculties to choose : Engineering (ENG) , Information Technology (IT), and Business Administration (BA), there is an international version of each faculty as to cover either an international students or those who want to study in an international level.
As for IB, we study both the basics and the advances of business administration in English. For example, Principles of Marketing (IBE-103) , Principles of Management (IBE-109), Global Marketing (IBE-421), Business Finance (IBE-204), Cross Culture Management (IBE-303) and much more from the BUS (Business) subjects.
As I mention that there are 3 levels of Japanese, there are also the selective Japanese subjects after you finished the Business Japanese 3 (JPN-201). The student must apply for the SOC (Social) and HUM (Humanity) subject, 1 each, to collect credits for graduation.
TNI doesn’t focus only academic, TNI also support activities, such as Sports Day, Loy Khratong, Taiko shows, etc. this institute also have exchange scholarships for TNI students which corporated with more than 50 universities in Japan.
In addition, there is a “must-have” activity called the “Project House”. House Project is the project that gathers students only from IB to form a business and work like a real company. The purpose of Project House is to train IB students to know/feel what it’s like to work in the business environment.
There are 6 houses in the Project House activity. For me, I work in the “Ethelbert” house in The Public Relations and Creative Department. The products of this house is mainly from durian, but there is also product from mangosteen too.
TNI is quite a brand new, small-sized institute that has been formed since 2007. But in my opinion, even though, this institute is very young and still not popular in Thailand, but with good teaching method and how this place treats me, this place is great for everyone and should be known in a bigger field. How about you guys try applying IB here, it’s worth a shot.
