Future Tenses
Tense คือ รูปแบบ (โครงสร้าง) ของกริยา ที่แสดงให้เราทราบว่าการกระทำหรือเหตุการณ์นั้นๆ เกิดขึ้น
Future Tense คือ รูปแบบโครงสร้างกริยาที่บอกการกระทำถึงอนาคต แบ่งได้ดังนี้
- Future Simple Tense
- Future Continuous Tense
- Future Perfect Tense
- Future Perfect Continuous Tense
Future simple
เราจะใช้ Future simple กับเหตุการณ์ / การกระทำที่ยังไม่เกิดขึ้น แต่จะเกิดขึ้นในอนาคต (เป็นการคาดการณ์ / การตัดสินใจ ณ ขณะที่พูด)
โครงสร้างประโยค คือ

เช่น
- Thank you so much for lending me your laptop. I it back to you within this Saturday.will return
- This is a secret between us. I promise I won’twell anyone.
- When will you be here? I arrived.
- I think I will walk to the grocery store. It isn’t far from here.
** Tip!! เมื่อพูดถึงสิ่งที่ได้วางแผน เตรียมการ หรือตัดสินใจไว้แล้วว่าจะทำ จะใช้
| Subject + is/am/are + going to + V.inf |
เช่น
- I am goingto clean my house. It’s so dirty.
- We are going to travel to Europe by train. It must be a great experience.
Future continuous
เราใช้ Future continuous เพื่อบอกถึงเหตุการณ์ / การกระทำ ที่จะกำลังดำเนินอยู่ ณ ช่วงเวลาใดเวลาหนึ่งในอนาคต หรือเป็นการคาดเดาเหตุการณ์ว่า ณ เวลานี้ในอนาคตกำลังมีเหตุการณ์อย่างใดอย่างหนึ่ง กำลังเกิดขึ้นอยู่
โครงสร้างประโยค คือ
| Subject + will + be + V.ing |
เช่น
- Mary in Washington DC this time next year.will be living
- The boys will be playing football tomorrow evening.
- She won't be studying this Saturday morning.
- Will you be using your car this evening? Can I borrow it?
Future perfect
เราใช้ Future perfect เพื่อบอกถึงเหตุการณ์ / การกระทำ ที่คาดว่าจะเสร็จสมบูรณ์ในอนาคต ถึงแม้ว่าในขณะที่พูดเหตุการณ์นั้นๆ อาจจะยังไม่เกิดก็ตาม
โครงสร้างประโยค คือ
| Subject + will + have + Verb 3 |
เช่น
- By the end of next month, my father in this company for15years.will have worked
- I will have finished lunch at 12.30. Come to see me at the cafeteria.
- I won't have finished my report by the end of this week. There're tons of work I need to do.
- Will Edward have gone home when I arrive at the party?
Future perfect continuous
เราใช้ Future perfect continuous เพื่อบอกถึงเหตุการณ์ / การกระทำ จะเสร็จสมบูรณ์ในอนาคต และแสดงให้เห็นถึงความต่อเนื่องของเหตุการณ์ ถึงแม้ว่าในขณะที่พูดเหตุการณ์นั้นๆ อาจจะยังไม่เกิดก็ตาม
โครงสร้างประโยค คือ
| Subject + will + have + been + V.ing |
เช่น
- I .will have been sleeping
- By next April, we will have been living here for five years.
