Enable Windows Image Acquisition Service - It is a service that allows graphics software to communicate to the imaging hardware in the system. Here is how you can enable it:
Open Run and type in services.msc and hit Enter and then scroll down and search for Windows Image Acquisition service.
Double click on the service and set the Startup Type to Automatic and make sure that service is running.
If the service is already running, you can click on the Stop button and then start it back again.
Now, click on the Apply button and hit OK to save changes.
Troubleshoot Hardware and Software Problems - You can troubleshoot the scanner problem with HP print and scan doctor. It is a tool that allows you to scan and fix the issues in your hardware and software.
First, you need to download the HP Print and Scan Doctor from the official HP website and install it on the system.
Now, open the tool and click on the Start button and then select the printer with the problem.
If the printer is listed, select it, and if it is not listed, you can follow the instructions of the tool to connect it.
Then, click on the Fix Scanning button, and it will scan and resolve the errors that are preventing you from using the Scanner.
