เปิดโผรายชื่อผู้เข้าชิง Oscar ครั้งที่ 92 
 

งานประกาศผลรางวัลแห่งวงการภาพยนตร์ที่ยิ่งใหญ่ที่สุดอย่าง The Academy Awards หรือที่ทุกคนรู้จักในชื่อรางวัล Oscar ได้ประกาศรายชื่อผู้เข้าชิงไปแล้วเมื่อคืนวันที่ 13 ม.ค.2020 เวลา 20.18น. (ตามเวลาประเทศไทย) รายการถ่ายทอดสดแบ่งเป็นสองช่วง โดยมีนักแสดง จอห์น โช กับ อิสซา แร รับหน้าที่เป็นพิธีกร สำหรับภาพยนตร์ที่มีสิทธิ์จะได้เข้าชิงนั้น ต้องเป็นภาพยนตร์ที่มีความยาวไม่ต่ำกว่า 40 นาที ลงโรงฉายตามโรงภาพยนตร์ทั่วไป ไม่ว่าจะเป็นการฉายในระบบแผ่นฟิล์มหนัง หรือการฉายในระบบดิจิทัล ภาพยนตร์จาก Comic-book ที่เล่าเรื่องราวของคู่อริตลอดการของ Batman อย่าง Joker ของผู้กำกับ ทอดด์ ฟิลิป นำโด่งมาด้วยการเข้าชิงมากถึง 11 รางวัล รวมถึงรางวัลสำคัญอย่างLead Actor(วาคีน ฟินิกส์), Director และBest Picture ตามมาติดกับภาพยนตร์แนวแก๊งสเตอร์ The Irishman ของผู้กำกับมาร์ติน สกอร์เซซี่ Once Upon a Time in Hollywood ของผู้กำกับเควนติน ทารันติโน่, 1917 ของผู้กำกับแซม เมนเดส ที่เข้าชิงกันไปเรื่องละ 10 รางวัล

นอกจากนั้นภาพยนตร์ที่ได้ชิงในสาขา Best pictureประกอบไปด้วยFord v Ferrari, Jojo Rabbit, Little Women, Marriage Story และ Parasiteในปีนี้ไม่มีผู้กำกับหญิงถูกเสนอชื่อเข้าชิงรางวัลเลย ผู้เข้าชิงในสาขา Director ที่ต้องมาขับเคี่ยวกับทอดด์ ฟิลิป คือเหล่าผู้กำกับมากฝีมือ คือ มาร์ติน สกอร์เซซี่, แซม เมนเดส, เควนติน ทารันติโน่ และ บอง จุง โฮ รายชื่อภาพยนตร์ที่ถูกเสนอชื่อเข้าชิงรางวัลออสก้าร์ครั้งที่ 92 ทั้งหมดได้แก่
