On Thursday, 13 September Ariya Laothitipong (Jija) in Year 10 at Regent’s International School Bangkok was invited by The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Thailand Foundation) to perform a concert for an invited audience of ambassadors, diplomats and guests at CW tower, Bangkok.
In a dazzling display of talent for such a young pianist she performed pieces including Liszt's Rigoletto Paraphrase, Haydn's Sonata in C Major and the highly entertaining Serpent's Kiss by William Bolcom.
Jija is now a regular performer in different countries and was the first Thai musician to win First Prize at the International Fran Liszt Competition for young pianists at Weimar, Germany in 2017.
