Lisa moved from a big city to live in a small village. She noticed that there was a small and old house next to her. A woman and a boy lived in that house. They looked very poor. The first day when Lisa was reading a book, the light went off. She picked up a candle and lit it, suddenly there’s a knock on the door. She thought that the poor family next door may come to ask for her candles. She didn’t want to give them so she blew her candle and the room became dark. She walked to the door and opened it. There, a boy came and asked, “Sister, do you have some candles?” Did not want to give her candle to the boys, she said, “No, I don’t have any.” The boy hearing this smiled and said, “That’s what my mom thought. You may not have any candle and it’s dark so she asked me to bring these two candles for you.” And he gave her 2 candles and went back home. Lisa was so sorry. She was mean to that poor family but they acted oppositely to her.
