Situation: Mr. Dan Brown, the headmaster of Greenscity High is talking with Sgt Sam about Bob.
Brown: How're things, Sergeant?
Sgt: Oh, Mr. Brown! _____1_____ Excuse me for being a little slow. I just didn't expect to see you here, that's all. When was the last time we saw each other?
Brown: Last Easter, I think. But actually, I saw you from time to time on the road, but it was just not the right spot to say hello.
Sgt: Right. And what's brought you here today? ______2_____
Brown: Oh yes, Sergeant. As you very well know, one of Greenscity High's students, Bob Marley, is detained here _____3_____ I just want to know what's going on.
Sgt: Would you like to see him?
Brown: I'd appreciate if that is possible, but it can be later. What's bothering me is that I've talked to many people who know Bob Marley, they think umm ..., _____4_____Umm. They don't believe that Bob Marley committed the crime.
Sgt: Well, Mr. Brown, it's up to them what they want to believe. I have all the evidence that proves his guilt.
Brown: But Sergeant, Bob never had any bad record and the Marleys are decent people. This is a small town. Everyone knows each other _____5_____ It's very difficult for everybody _____6_____ the charge.
Sgt: Mr. Brown, I didn't believe it myself at the beginning, but after questioning him everything _____7_____
Brown: Can you tell me about it?
Sgt: Oh yes, sure. And it is what I've been telling everybody. Listen, Bob Marley cannot prove his alibi for one thing. _____8_____ he was under circumstances that made him feel threatened. He was emotionally unstable at the time of the crime. The whole thing just makes perfect sense to me.
Brown: We've heard that but we really can't agree with your conclusion. _____9_____we believe that Bob was with Tim Hoffman when the school was burned to the ground. Wouldn't it be a better move to question Tim before sending Bob to court?
Sgt: He has had a very bad accident. Nobody knows if or when he will be _____10_____ again. I can't wait for that.
Brown: _____11_____ turns out that Bob Marley is innocent?
Sgt: That can't be, Mr. Brown. I can assure you that Bob Marley is the culprit. He'll be in court tomorrow. I think we'd better leave this matter to the judge. There's nothing we can do now.
